Agree. The biggest thing that holds these cars back as they come from the factory is fuel I think. Get the octane up or some ethanol in there and I'd say there's a LOT of potential in stock config and it just grows from there. I fully built my old car (because I had to) and honestly don't want to do that again. I didn't ever plan to do anything to the engine in this one until the original broke, and that's why I just went back with a simple solution in the Redeye long block. Small upgrade and OEM still. The rest are really just bolt ons, and to your point, not really all that much to be honest for how it performs.
I'll be real curious how it does as we move to E85.
