Definitely. I wanted to know what the car could do with things working right. There's just a bit left in it as it sits but it's close to optimized for what it has.

I think a big aspect of these cars is the fact of what they are capable in what I would call mild tuning and changes. The Hellcat itself is an awesome package - which is why I love the platform.
For the most part any engine can be changed and modified to perform at the fringes, making outrageous power levels, but like the 2nd Gen Hemi, the Hellcat has untapped potential with fairly minor changes that goes way beyond the what is delivered from the factory.
Not taking anything away from your accomplishments - it takes work, perseverance, and making the right changes to get there.

Agree. The biggest thing that holds these cars back as they come from the factory is fuel I think. Get the octane up or some ethanol in there and I'd say there's a LOT of potential in stock config and it just grows from there. I fully built my old car (because I had to) and honestly don't want to do that again. I didn't ever plan to do anything to the engine in this one until the original broke, and that's why I just went back with a simple solution in the Redeye long block. Small upgrade and OEM still. The rest are really just bolt ons, and to your point, not really all that much to be honest for how it performs.

I'll be real curious how it does as we move to E85.

Speedy it seems all of your runs are in the right lane, any reason why? Also a lot of your mph are 140 even now going a tenth quicker. Taking timing out on the top or mph at the track reading low?

The left lane at Beech Bend used to be a bit sketchy with a big bump at the 1,000 foot mark, and I blew my motor in the left lane LOL. They've repaved and fixed the bump but I'm superstitious and like the right better for whatever reason.

MPH won't change a whole lot as ET improves, sometimes it even goes down. Timing in the upper end of the tune has been the same for a couple years I guess. The ones I tested here only had progressively more timing down low to bring power in sooner. If we go strictly by MPH the car would run something like a 9.4 with everything perfect including a low 1.3 60' but gearing and a bunch of other stuff impact "perfect".
