Mickey Thompson ET Street R Shortage

So, apparently you can't get the M/T ET Street R's right now because M/T is having production issues. They wanted to push my order out a minimum of 3 weeks. It looks like I will have to go with the ET Street SS's since they are all that is currently available.

They were having them last summer also. Time of year everyone is buying so I can see it again. I feel there is a shortage of everything right now

I ordered mine in September last year and they showed up in December. Just in time for winter....

I sell them through 1320 wheels. Its been a hassle since Covid started. At first, from what I was told at least, is the state they were in had a rule that if over a certain percentage of your employees tested positive you had to shut down. So they moved their production facility. They ramped production up for a bit, but were back to backorders with no ETA

I'm sure Covid has effected Micky Thompson.
I can't say this is new at all.
In 2015 As my husband had me testing different Drag radials while waiting maybe 6 months for the ETrs.
They are the Best tire for a modified Hellcat and many other car brands use them too. They changed many racers on what they were using at our MSHS races.
Nittos were the most Fun because they love heat and oh those Smokey Burnouts were awesome to do. Kate got All my Hand me downs. She loves doing Smokey Burnouts.
She does not do small ones with MT ETrs.
She runs 11.50 Bracket and is well known.
I guess maybe she will be getting some Nittos.

Another reason to go to a 15” conversion. Radial Pros are cheaper, hook better and are available. Having said that... I’ll be checking on ordering a set today just in case. 😬

I’d say better get them while you can ! Of course there’s a shortage of silicone based product that goes into the tires. Saw this on my Motorhome site they are claiming the price of our tires will double by summer’s end 😡 Thanks again biden and the leftist retards.
