it was the $30k option special paint program they did for 30 or 40 selected customers. once a color was chosen by someone that color was off the table so they are all 1 of 1

Well Bobo if someone has amassed that much disposable income where droppin 450 large on a unique toy...is no big deal..I'd be hard pressed to call him a moron..and why shouldn't he indulge himself...(if he feels he just has to have it)..unless of course he is some liberal Democrat Politician that has been stealing our tax payer money.....which I highly doubt...would I spend that..never...actually cant think of anything I would spend that kinda money on...

Lot of those kinda deals on BAT are brokers that have overseas buyers lined up. This might be one of those, but any case definitely not worth the money. I'll be able to watch for a few years and see.

Just because someone isn't good with money and over pays doesn't make something worth what they paid imo. Look at all the people who paid $150-200 for 170s last summer and they're selling $125-135 now. Talk about setting a pile of cash on fire.

In other news a 3400 mile Durango Hellcat sold on BAT last week for $66k.

In other news a 3400 mile Durango Hellcat sold on BAT last week for $66k.

Wouldn't wanna speculate on what the buyers net worth is...but given the fact he CAN spend that much for it...(and most likely still afford lunch)...indicates he is probably very good with money

Market and other forces beyond the control of either party can greatly affect value in either direction. That's why real estate appraisers can only go back six months to find comps. The ONLY Non Viper Stellantis Vehicle painted Competition Blue. That cannot be said for many of the other Jailbreak Colors including the Panther Pink.

I got cold feet and let it go. I wanted to do other things to the car that would be harder to reverse, and could cause permanent Damage to the car. So, I decided a collector friend should preserve it and he is............

As a side note, the car was taken completely apart to be painted. And I mean everything.

I wonder how much Kenny Wayne Shepherd's 170 might be worth...1 of the 28 (? per Ron above) Jailbreaks, in a color that was not even an original choice for the lucky group...Petty Blue. I recall he said in his delivery video he had to get Petty Ent. ok first, plus have major strings pulled inside Chrysler to get it approved.
