Can I please get you guys opinion on either of these wheels for the rear of my standard bodied HC Chally w/Phillips Flares?

Thinking of going with either of these 2 from Weld:

RT-S; S71; Size 17x11 in.; Bolt Pattern 5x115 mm.; +5 Offset; Backspacing 6.2 in.; Black Center; Polished Shell; Bore Diameter 3.18in./80.772mm.; Center Cap Included;
SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Wheel Size: 17x11
  • Bolt Pattern: 5x115mm
  • Back Spacing (in.): 6.2
  • Finish: Polished

OR these:

RT-S; S71; Size 17x10 in.; Bolt Pattern 5x115 mm.; +30 Offset; Back Spacing 6.7 in.; Black Center; Polished Shell; Bore Diameter 3.18in./80.772mm.; Center Cap Included;
SPECIFICATIONS:
  • Wheel Size: 17x10
  • Bolt Pattern: 5x115mm
  • Back Spacing (in.): 6.7
  • Finish: Polished
Either way tires will probably be the M/T ET Street R P305/45R17

With the Phillips Flares it would seem I can go an inch or so outward than I would vs. the standard 1/4 panel sheet metal without looking like the tire is poking out too far. I know alot of guys run the 10 wide rim, but if I can get away with the 11 and not have to mod the ribs in the wheel well, I would be happy with that. I've already modded the plastic liner a bit, and am currently running Nitto 315 NT05r's on PK's HR5's that are 11 inches wide, with a back space of about 6 3/4 or so.
I just want more sidewall to plant the car a bit better. Wiles D/S went in a few weeks ago, in addition to a few rear suspension pieces and the BMR Cradle Lockout Bushing Kit that were installed last year.

Thanks to all...

I would go with the 17x11’s if you’re getting flares. The 17x10 +30s will look very sucked in. I have the same specs for my D5’s and they are tucked in.

Also I would consider the 315/50/17’s instead. But I’m not sure how the clearance would be on the outside lip on a 17x11 +5. That’s going to be almost an inch further out and it’s a big tire. Safest bet is a 305 but I would personally try 315’s. Would be a badass look with those Phillips flares. Share pics when you’re done.

Here's some different angles to show the rear orientation:

Good am Matt. Looking at your rears it certainly seems that moving outboard by an inch would be easy, especially with the flares. Just to give you an idea, here they are already mounted. I’d love to go with the 315’s but I dont want to have to hammer that rib. Thanks for the input.

The inner should clear just fine with that +5 offset. It’s us guys with wheels that are in the +20 to +30 offsets that are having to hammer the rib.

Exactly what I was going to say!
