My 2018 Charger Hellcat is due for some brakes...still has original Brembos. Thinking of doing the PowerStops. Are PowerStops still the go to alternative to the Brembos?

Planning on going back to the PS4s as well.

Appreciate it all.

Not sure...they looked fine when tires where rotated...might just change them while I'm at it. Any suggestions? Car has 45,000 miles now.

I’ve read some good things about the EBC Yellowstuff brake pads…I may buy these the next time I need brakes. As for rotors, I’m leaning towards the Demon Performance or RB Performance lightweight rotors. However, there are less expensive OEM alternatives…DBA makes a replacement rotor ring.

I've switched to PowerStop Z26 on all my fleet - daily's and the Hemi's...good compromise of low dust and decent performance, also have been pleasantly pleased with their performance slotted rotors too. I believe I have seen catalog photo evidence of a part number for the Hellcat 2-piece front rotors, but have never confirmed if they are actually available.

Ha, well. If the rotors are still good, you are going to be into this for less than $300 for PS pads! If I am reading my Amazon purchases right may be less than $200! If they still have slots, noting is more kind to those rotors than the PS pads.

Can our rotors be turned or is that not something they do anymore? Have a great day all.

At some point I will probably go with Powerstops, but only to minimize dust. Right now I am attempting to achieve goals with the car and stopping ability is more important than cosmetics. I will stick with OEM until I am done verifying the mfr's claims! Then I will retire and be satisfied enough for the PS pads. ;)

Thanks again. Front brakes are squeaking...which they have never done before. Thanks all.

About 1/2 - 2/3rds gone, turnable IF you can find a good lathe operator.

H-bobbins look ok from what I can see, but inspect the clips thoroughly if you use them again, they tend to start cracking after lots of miles and/or hard use.

Ok to use if you do get them turned AND are only driving in a "sane" fashion. Road course would want new with full mass.

Before worrying about or chasing any squeaking, do a fresh bedding and then evaluate, as always, be extra diligent about safety when bedding.

I'm still not able to supply any hardware, sorry, it's a painful story.

What tire are you currently running? The PS4s are really good, just wish they were cheaper LOL Gas and tires, that's all these things really need...well brakes too I guess.

Ok, 6 years, 45k mi. You had a good run with them. Personally I'd do a full brake job, rebuild the calipers, new rotors, new pads, new flexible lines, get it all good a new and not have to worry about it for another 6y/45kmi. I don't know about you but I may not even live that long! On that line, the extra $1-2k will just come out of your kid's inheritance! Focus on what is most important! :ROFLMAO:

Those brakes should last well over six years now that Hellcatcfp isn't doing taxi driving in SoCal anymore.
