Tuned it for the track.

Changed the air cleaner to the infamous Demon unit.

Installed my DS Suspension Controller. (Did not want to until I loaded the racing tune).

Added a couple gallons of magic juice to the tank.

Installed the little sending unit over the USB to give us all those cool readouts on my videos.

Charged the GoPro and Satellite GPS unit to give the video and REAL speeds in those videos.

Checked the cords in the car to connect everything for those wonderful readouts.

Drove it to dinner, and PUNCHED it!

Shit yes it felt good and ran real well.

Today? Mechanical stuff..brakes, wheels/tires and one little upgrade coming from AAD.:D Then go west of town and bed those new bitchin Hawk pads into those rotors.

Go get the trailer. Take pictures tomorrow after we load her up.
I worked up a sweat just readin yer post

They are nice, incredible light! Those bushings are great. Went for a ride to bed-in the Hawks. It seemed tighter. I did place the new links in the most tight position on the sway bar. The machine felt great, we are saying she is ready.

Wife and I went to dinner and on our trek across town we came upon another HC a little older but had definitely been modified. That sum bitch was loud and there was a modded Harley along for the fun.
Pulled up next to him at a stoplight and I think he took that as a challenge🤣 needless to say I’m surprised their were no cops waiting for us at the end of State St🤣🤣🤣 The couple on the Harley were freakin nuts, with s capital UTZ!! They keep right up with us and we’re zooming in and out if other traffic! We got to the end if the street and stopped at light to make our turn and all three went our own ways!
Wife just said that was FUN!!

Then on the way home from dinner we ran into our daughter and family out cruising around in their Wrangler enjoying some of the first nice weather we’ve had! She yells out you wanna race? Said we already did but sure and floored it! Went sideways up the hill and we were gone😎😎

Took Colin the cat to the vets for his vaccinations, doesn't seem like an another year has passed. He looked a bit anxious when I started up but soon settled in, probably be better in the Ram but there's a bridge with a weight restriction on the way. Shame I got the day wrong and his appointment is actually on Friday.

Today was warm enough for me to sadly notice the AC is no longer working, are there any common places for leaks?

Not gonna help you much now but one of the best things you can do for your A/C is to use it year round...at least "exercise" it regularly so it keeps the refrigerant/lubricant flowing and helps prevent the O-rings from drying out and consequently causing leaks.

They typically use dye to detect where the leak is and go from there. There are refrigerants which have sealing additives and that MAY work for y'all depending on how bad the leak is. The cans with the gauges on them that you can buy from the auto parts store can be useful as long as you (1) don't have a major issue (2) don't exceed the system's rated pressure.

A/C is a closed system (like your cooling system/coolant) so it's not normal to loose refrigerant...

Hopefully it won't be much of a bother for you to address in jolly ole England, good luck!

Thanks, yes, I never switch it off and it clears the screen better in the winter.

Theres an AC specialist not too far away that I've used before - he blanked off the back half of my Japanese import day van which was leaking so I could have it working in the cab/front. On that theres a really long pipe pipe which commonly corrodes and its an eye watering £1K to import. The "pipe within a pipe" design is pretty stupid and forces you to buy expensive parts.

Anyway. I'll make sure it's running as I just assumed on the way home that it would be a leak and get it booked in. He seemed pretty reliable and not the sort to go for a joy ride.

Opened a keg of local IPA, poured off a fresh growler for the Serv Mgr. As I drove into the back of the Dodge dealer, the salesman who couldn't be bothered to sell me a new 2020 HC, was outside sucking on a cig, he said something like "nice" as I went by to park by the service entrance. Then another guy (I have never seen before, maybe customer) comes running out of the showroom door and says he never saw one in real life, only pics.

Don't let anyone kid you, these cars are special, and anyone who knows anything about cars knows it!

My ODO rolled over 11K miles Sunday morning on my 'need-for-speed outing'.
Love bugs are starting, so she'll be back to hibernation for the next 4 - 6 weeks :(

Do the lovebugs show up on weather radar? We have a Mayfly issue here along Lake Erie. They swarm and I've seen the city use snow plows to remove them from the streets in really bad years. They sound like popcorn popping when you walk on them! Hate the little buggers! Google pic but I've seen them this bad and worse.

I lived in St. Clair Shores for a few years & I remember those - what a mess they'd make !
